A Motorhead Moment

Not so you think that all I do is be an insatiable slut, I do have my lucid moments. one of them is restoring antique autos. I had built a 1940 FORD street rod a few years ago, pro stick kind of car. I learned quite a bit from it, like never use Mustang ll suspension. Way too over rated, and drives like crap.
SO, here is my latest success. A 1946 FORD business coupe, ( No back seat). I saw it on EBay, listed by a noted dealer of antiques in Texas. great car, mint condition, just restored. blah, blah... WELL, the mint condition was the color...the paint looked like it was shot out of the rear end of a vacuum cleaner. The car was a shit can, lousy work from end to end, barely ran, no brakes, transmission wouldn't stay in any gear, engine sounded like a lawn mower running on diesel oil. I did a 100% tear down, to bare frame rails and started over. rebuilt Flathead with OFFY heads, manifolds, dual 94's, Isky cam. lowered 2 inches, powder disc brakes, Ford 9" rear with 3.25 gears.
When finished an artist friend of mine went crazy with his airbrush and did the detail work. We named it THUNDER ROAD, after my favorite movie. We also have a real Mullins travel trailer to match.
Looking forward to christening the car the right way, with my lady in full latex and thigh high boots the first hot  Summer's day.
